6 countries where you should not drive yourself

Many people have self-drive preferences to see the scenery while traveling, but you should only do so if you are in a country with open and convenient transportation.

That is not to mention quite expensive car renting in European countries including the purchase of additional car insurance and driving rules on the public roads are also different. According to the Waze navigation application survey, five countries are unsuitable for driving because of frequent traffic jams and air pollution.

The Philippines

The Philippines has many attractions for visitors. However, the country is in the list of worst places in the world for driving, based on the level of satisfaction of the driver. Manila was voted the worst city in the world for traffic problems, including congestion, degraded roads, lack of road services, and the severity of traffic incidents.

Central America

El Salvador is at the bottom of the driver satisfaction rankings, followed by Guatemala. Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Panama are also in the top 10 worst nations to drive. Many drivers have shared bad experiences in the streets of these countries. In addition, these are the most notorious countries for corruption, including the traffic police taking the bribery money.

South America

In South America, Venezuela and Colombia are among the countries with the worst transportation system in the world. Of which, Colombia is also one of the most dangerous countries in the world for driving, with a satisfaction rating of 3.3 on a scale of 10.

Although many people love the serene beauty of Bali's coastline, Indonesia is still one of the most dangerous places for visitors to travel. In addition to the risks of crime and natural disasters, cities in Indonesia are also a major challenge for drivers, with traffic jams and traffic accidents being the two most common.

Many European countries follow the same driving laws as the United States, making it easier for the visitors to travel by car. However, there are exceptions in this area. Romania is the only European country to be included in the list of the 10 countries with the worst transportation system in the world, especially for tourists. Even local people advise you not to drive yourself when you come here.

Beijing (China) - home to more than 20 million people is the city in the top five cities with the worst traffic quality surveyed by IBM. Not only the traffic jams during peak hours, but during off-peak hours, Beijing's traffic system is also often jammed. Typically, in 2010, the traffic jams from Beijing to Jining with a length of about 100km lasted nearly a month.
