The carcinogenic foods that you still eat every day

Many of the favorite foods we use daily contain carcinogens.

Processed meats 


Processed meats include sausages, bacon, etc. Processed meats are classified by WHO as a class 1 carcinogen. The researchers noted that excessive amounts of salt and chemicals are used in processed meats that are harmful to health. 

All processed meats contain a lot of chemicals and preservatives that make the meat look attractive and fresh but are all carcinogens. Bacon is considered particularly hazardous because of the meat that is absorbed by tar in the smoking process. 

Red meat 

Eating red meat increases the risk of cancer 

WHO classifies red meat as a possible carcinogen for people in group 2A. In addition to the increased risk of colorectal cancer, red meat also increases the risk of pancreatic cancer and prostate cancer. WHO says eating 100 grams of red meat a day increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 17 percent over your life. 

Farmed salmon 


Salmon is usually good for health, but with farmed salmon has the opposite effect. Even so, more than 60% of salmon is raised in aquaculture areas. 

These fish are fed with unnatural foods and are contaminated with chemicals and other common carcinogens. They live in a very crowded condition, which makes them 30 times as abundant as wild salmon. Some studies have also shown that farmed salmon contains high levels of PCB, mercury and cancer-causing dioxins. 

French fries 


French fries contain high levels of fat and calories, causing weight gain. In addition to containing saturated fats that can cause high cholesterol levels, they also contain excessive sodium levels that cause high blood pressure in many people. 

French fries have artificial flavors, many preservatives and harmful coloring agents. In addition, when fried at high temperatures, it produces acrylamide, a carcinogen also presenting in cigarettes. 

Foods high in salt and vinegar 


Foods are treated using either nitrate or nitrite as preservatives and colorants for meat. Although nitrates do not cause cancer, in certain conditions these chemicals convert to N-nitroso compounds as soon as they enter the body to increase the risk of cancer. 

Refined sugar 


Refined sugar is not only known to increase insulin levels but also to feed on cancer cells, thus boosting their growth. 

Refined sugar is found in pastries, pies, biscuits, sodas, juices, sauces, grains and many other popular foods, most of which have been treated with refined sugar. 


Alcohol abuse is a risk factor for many cancers 

Although absorbing moderate or low alcohol intake may be good for your health and reduce your risk of heart disease, overdosing may cause heart damage, stroke and sudden death. Excessive alcohol use is a major cause of oral, esophageal, liver, intestinal cancers and breast cancer in women.
