7 simple ways to reduce your risk of cancer

Small things in your daily life to build up a healthy lifestyle can effectively reduce your risk of cancer.

Experts estimate that at least one third of cancers in adults relate to lifestyle. Cancer has no cure. It can only be prevented by creating a healthy lifestyle.

Here are eight healthy habits that you can develop to help prevent cancer:

1. No smoking

In the United States, lung cancer kills more women and men than any other cancer - 28% of all cancer deaths. The most noticeable reasons is smoking. And that's just lung cancer. Smoking is also associated with more than a dozen other types of cancer and accounts for 30% of all cancer deaths in general. That is why the best way to fight cancer is to stop smoking, or never start smoking.

However, even if you don’t smoke, don’t think that the smoke will not enter your body. About 3,000 cases of lung cancer occur each year as a result of exposing to secondhand smoke, and there are indications that other types of cancer can also be associated with tobacco smoke. So, encourage your loved ones and those around you to quit to get a healthy lifestyle.

If you can maintain your weight at a healthy level, increase physical activities and increase your intake of vegetables, this is equivalent to stopping smoking if you are a smoker and have difficulty quitting.
