Eating more to lose weight, you dare to try?

Nessa had eaten at least 1,600 calories a day - until she realized it was time to make the big change to lose weight.

Nessa shared: “When the coach told I that I needed to eat 2,000 to 2,200 calories a day to lose weight, I was a little suspicious and unbelievable. However, I remembered that in fact she had consumed even more than that.


 I rarely ate breakfast. And then because of stress, work pressure, I easily forgot about lunch. Then when I got home at 6 to 7 pm, I realized I was so hungry that I had to eat something fast and not "healthy", like pasta, pizza or hamburgers, followed by dessert like something sweet. I thought most of the days I ate about 1,600 calories or more than that. Later on the weekends, I often skipped lunch at dinner with meat, potatoes, pasta with cream sauce, a homemade dessert or a chocolate bar.”

Maybe that's why, after 15 months of abnormal diet with the hope of losing weight and building muscle, I was completely "stuck". I did not lose weight, and my muscles did not grow up. I am 39 years old and my body has not changed the way I want. I gradually lost the motivation to continue and felt I did not want to do anything.

At this point, my coach told me that eating more and eating more often during the day could bring positive changes to my body. He came up with a diet plan that I would eat 4-5 calories every 3-4 hours throughout the day, with a total of 5 or 6 meals.


Every day, I start breakfast at the desk. To make things easy, I decide to eat lunch three times, each time about three hours apart. I cook it all in one or two days and store it in separate boxes, and I also have to make sure I have enough items as well as regular menu changes so I do not feel bored. I also cook dinner at home every night. I'm the type who likes to cook, so I do not have any problems with this. Of course, the quality of food is also extremely important. I've certainly eaten more, but it's still mostly fiber, lean protein, whole grains and healthy fats.


Great progress in her energy as well as health

It only takes a few weeks for the body to start changing. My skin is healthy and my stomach is more stable. I also have more energy to work on, maybe because I eat often. Every day, I wake up at 5 am to prepare everything, including exercise.

I began to realize great progress in my energy and health. By eating regularly and exercising, I loaded the body with more fuel to build more muscle and then improved the metabolism of the body.


After 11 weeks of eating this way, I lost about 3 - 5kg and 5cm over my old waistline. A colleague of mine exclaimed: "Unbelievable! The more you eat, the more beautiful your physique is!"

Food is not the enemy

Throughout my weight-loss and training process, my relationship with food has also changed. Although I always love food in general, I never think of food directly affecting my health and body.

Now, a lot of people tell me they do not believe I'm 40. And I advise them that they should eat more”.
