What makes Alexandre Vauthier a designer loved by celebs?
Designer Alexandre Vauthier began his career in the City of Light as soon as he graduated from the ESMOD fashion school from 1991 to 1994. After practicing at Thierry Mugler Couture, he became an assistant and during that period, he always devoted himself to learning the steps to create and perfect a high-end design. In 1997, he moved to Jean Paul Gaultier, where he became the main designer and gradually formed his own style.

It was not until 2009 that Alexandre Vauthier established his own brand and gradually built a reputation in the fashion world. It can be said that the eight-year experience at fashion house Jean-Paul Gaultier and a trip to the United States, Alexandre Vauthier did open a sky of artistic creativity and artistic thought to form ideas for his following collections. Talking about the reason for pursuing the haute couture fashion route, Vauthier was excited. "It’s a pleasure to find new embroideries, new textures, new ways to consider haute couture," said the designer. "Not only in a classic way, but more in a contemporary way."
Inspired by the classic French spirit and modern American fashion, Vauthier's designs have captured the hearts of many of the world's greatest stars. The beginning of his affair with celebrities was the encounter 9 years ago with Rihanna. At the time, Vauthier was a young talent and Rihanna went on to become a top singer with four studio albums. They quickly became close friends and he was always the companion to build new style and make up for her costumes in music events and products.

Not only Rihanna, designer Alexandre Vauthier has created a collaborative relationship with countless names in the field of fashion and art such as Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid, Kerry Washington, Ciara, Beyoncé and Dua Lipa.
However, he often avoided mentioning his famous clients, which is a rare thing in the fashion industry. For this man, the influence of a star cannot measure of the value of a design. Instead, Vauthier's way of creating the right fit for each woman is reflected in his work and his instinct to understand the others’ characteristics.

"I think about all the strong personalities, and I dress them for that," he said. "Dressing them in this way, you eventually find the sensibility of each kind of person. You start to recognize something inside and you can express it." It is because of this particular approach that he always makes a large number of his customers keep coming back, typical of which is the French First Lady Brigitte Macron.

When it comes to haute couture, there is no budget limit," Vauthier said. "It’s more experimentation. But ready-to-wear is more for dressing all women".
In fact, every designer should be able to immerse in their creative freedom without having to worry about the budget. That is why stars often order the expensive products of haute couture line by Alexandre Vauthier with a sophisticated look and meticulous details. All are done in hundreds of hours by professional artists.

Looking back at his career, Alexandre Vauthier always humbly claimed that it is not a big milestone. Despite his name and a certain place in the fashion industry, the designer insisted that he just felt good for making women happy. And perhaps that is the key to success that confirms his appeal to the music stars, actresses and young generation in the world.
