Top 10 candidates for Oscar 2019's Best Picture

Even though many of the films have not yet been released yet, let’s take a look at the 10 worthy nominees for Best Picture at Oscar 2019.

Although the race for the Best Picture award at the 2019 Oscars is far from over, the fans have somehow got a glimpse of exactly which movies will be the brightest candidates.

1. A Star Is Born


It is said that "A Star Is Born" is one of the movies having influences to the young in 2018. The appearance of Lady Gaga and director and starring Bradley Cooper has received positive feedback from the audience right from the start. In addition, the critics also have to praise the film when it was screened at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.

2. First Man


Two years after receiving the Best Director award along with La La Land, director Damien Chazelle has returned with a special film category: First Man. The film debuted successfully at three major film festivals including Venice, Telluride, and Toronto.

The feedbacks of audiences and critics not only focus on the content of the film but also on star' performances. In particular, First Man was nominated for a number of nominees for acting, including Ryan Gosling for Best Actor and Claire Foy for Best Supporting Actress.
