In 2011, when Clara wrote on Twitter: “Trust me Rihanna u don’t want to see me on or off the stage”, Rihanna replied: “Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of”. That tweet was a legendary moment and made Rihanna a true queen of social networking.

In 2012, Rihanna opened Clara Lionel Foundation, a not-for-profit organization to remember her grandparents (Clara and Lionel Braithwaite) - for health care and education in poor areas, as well as scholarships for universities in the United States.
