Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt heavily criticized for starring in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

After agreeing to star in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", two of Hollywood's top stars were quickly condemned by members of Sharon Tate's family.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt recently signed a contract to participate in the ninth movie in the career of the veteran director Quentin Tarantino. One of the most important details of the film was the murder of star Sharon Tate at her private house in 1969.

As soon as hearing the news, Debra Tate - Sharon's sister - spoke on TMZ site to criticize the two stars. "To [celebrities] it's a paycheck and these people just don’t care. They are terribly hurtful to the actual family and all the living victims. They don’t give a sh*t." said she.

Debra Tate said that both Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt were immature and "irresponsible" when deciding to join Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt are criticized for accepting the offer of director Quentin Tarantino to participate in his new film.

According to director Quentin Tarantino, the film revolves around a TV actor specializing in playing the role of Western cowboys, but he lost his position before the rapid change of Hollywood. One of his neighbors is Sharon Tate.

In real life, a famous actress was killed by Charles Manson’s American criminal group’s members while she was pregnant with an child of director Roman Polanski at the age of 26.

After Manson was arrested, he was hallucinating when the criminal himself identified himself as "Helter Skelter" - the character in the famous song of the same name of the Beatles.

“The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt)." Therefore audience can expect a lot of scenes featuring both DiCaprio and Pitt in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

This is not the first time Debra Tate has spoken about her sister's death exploited by Hollywood. On February 7, in People, she called The Haunting of Sharon Tate "unscrupulous." This is a horror film, in which Hillary Duff plays the victim of the crime, and it is expected to be completed this year.

Quentin Tarantino has not revealed who will play the ill-fated star Sharon Tate. Some sources previously supposed that the filmmaker wanted to target Jennifer Lawrence or Margot Robbie for the role.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is scheduled for release by Sony on August 9, 2019, exactly 50 years after Sharon Tate's heartbreaking death.
