3. JIMI HENDRIX: VOODOO CHILD

Jonny Allen Hendrix was born on November 27, 1942 in Seattle, Washington, USA. His father changed his name to James Marshall Hendrix and in 1966, when he moved to England, changed his name to Jimi Hendrix. As a child, Jimi learnt to play guitar himself. He spent hours researching and learning how to play through the tapes of South R&B artists like B.B. King and the blues of Muddy Water and Elmore James.

An artist, a master guitarist – these praises are not even enough to show off the talent of this legend. He became a phenomenon without any record label or promotion. Dubbed the master of "playing" the sound and "bending" the air, Jimi Hendrix is one of the greatest monuments of rock and roll. The film revolves around Jimi's artistic life from the perspective of his colleagues as well as the precious footages of his life's shows.
