2018: 'Rap village' has lost so many talented rappers
The departure of Mac Miller recently made rap lovers' mood becomes 'overwhelming'. This is not the first time in a year that a rapper has died, the number has surpassed 10, including prominent artists and rappers whose talent has just shone.
Most recently, music lovers almost shocked when receiving news Mac Miller died. In particular, the Los Angeles Police Department was at home to rapper Mac Miller at 11 am on 7 September (local time), at which time the male rapper had died at the age of 26.
The cause of his death was initially identified as a drug overdose. He had a history of overdose and was well known. The abuse of these drugs is one of the reasons for the breakup between him and the "diva" Ariana Grande has caused a stir for some time.
The sudden departure at the too young age of Mac Miller makes people regret. Many artists such as G-Eazy, Halsey, Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes... sent condolences to the family and expressed their grief.
On June 18, rapper XXXTentacion was shot dead in Miami, Florida, USA. At the time, he was only 20 years old. According to investigators, XXXTentacion was shot at the 4 pm local time while leaving the Riva Motorsports store. The two strangers fled the scene after killing the male rapper. Later, XXXTentacion was rushed to the hospital for emergency relief but not passed.
XXXTentacion is a young talented rapper, respected by many other artists. He is the owner of a number of underground hits and a hip-hop fan community like “Look at Me!”, “Kings of Dead” and “Save Me”.
In 2015, Louis BadAzz started to make a success of his career with the song named “Let Me Thru Dis B”. The song attracted much attention and positive feedback from the audience. But just three years later, the tragedy struck him permanently. Louis was shot in a daytime attack in Baton Rouge on May 2. He was taken to a nearby hospital, however, only an hour later, Louis BadAzz passed away.
Smoke Dawg is well known in the year 2015 through “Trap House” song. However, by 2017, he was really popular when performing with Drake on his Boy Meets World tour. Unfortunately, Smoke was killed in a shootout outside a Toronto nightclub on June 30.
Jimmy Wopo was on the road to success with the song named “Elm Street” in 2016. The song was a big hit in his hometown, Pittsburgh. Like the above rappers, his career and life forever stopped at a young age, just 21 years old. He was shot in Hill County, Pittsburgh on June 18. According to the Post Post, Jimmy and some other passengers were in the car and they were shot by a stranger. The others survived the shooting attack but unfortunately, Jimmy was shot in the head and could not pass.
A1 Lil Tony
A1 Lil Tony was killed by a shootout on May 1, leaving a growing fan community and countless regrets. According to ABC News, around 10 pm, Tony was on his way to his mother's home in Waldorf and was approached by a stranger carrying guns and fired at him. He died at the crime scene.
