4 fascinating fairy tales on the big screen

“Cinderella”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Sleeping Beauty” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” attract not only children, but also adults.

No.1. “Cinderella”

“Cinderella” is a fairy tale that many girls love. Inspired by this fairy tale, Walt Disney Studios produced “Cinderella” movie in 2005.



Basically the content of the film is the same as the content of the Cinderella story. However, the film changes a few details: Ella happened to meet the prince before the party; the Prince asked his father to marry her but the king did not agree; Ella's stepmother discovered she was the mysterious prince who danced, threatening her, asking her to marry her after her marriage; when Ella refused, she broke Ella’s shoe and showed the true identity of Ella to the king.

The film was invested magnificently, which took viewers into a fairytale world. The film also used a variety of modern techniques to attract viewers, making the audience as if returning to the fairy dream of the past.

No.2. Beauty and the Beast

The fairy tale is about a girl who lives in a castle with a monster. Gradually, she discovers monsters not as evil as I think and then she has feelings with him. In the end, Belle's true love resolves the curse and helps the monster return to being human.



“Beauty and the Beast” was set to debut in 2017 based on the fairy tale. Emma Watson played the lead role in the movie. The film attracted viewers by a number of new details: The better explanation for why the prince and the castle were cursed,more clearly depicting the cruel nature of Gaston in the movie when fooling Belle’s father into the forest to kill him; explaining why Belle’s mother passed away leaving her father and her.

“Sleeping Beauty” is a fairytale tale of a princess cursed by a sorceress that she will be stabbed to death on her fifteenth birthday, only a kiss of true love reincarnate the curse.


“Maleficent” based on the above story but the protagonist is not the princess but the witch. The film goes in a different direction, with a lot of creative details to attract viewers: Stefan takes advantage of Maleficent's love, tricks her wings, marries the princess and becomes the king; Maleficent hates King Stefan, curses Aurora- daughter of King Stefan; Looking at the child growing up, Maleficent gradually has feelings for Aurora; The Aurora falls asleep, the prince's kiss can’t break the curse, but the true love of Manficent for Aurora has made her awake.
