Preparing from earlier April, not until recently has Miley Cyrus set the official release date for her 6th studio album, "Younger Now". This will be the next album after the success of the hit albums “Bangerz” released in 2013 and "Dead Petz" launched in 2015.
The album, her sixth, is expected to be the more-or-less official follow-up to her 2013 hit album “Bangerz,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and passed the million-sales mark several months later. In 2015 she released a collaboration with the Flaming Lips, “Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz,” an odd, experimental and admittedly weed-influenced outing that was released as a free download immediately after her appearance as host of the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
Miley revealed she wrote lyrics and melodies for most of the songs in the album. The one who has responsibility to accomplish the album is musician and music producer Oren Yoel - who collaborated with her on the single "Adore You" (debuted in No.27 in the UK).
Album "Younger Now" will be released on September 29, but it is difficult to say whether this album is as successful as the previous one. However, it can be completely certain that Miley is actually a feminine and lovely girl, again. She gives up bad habits like smoking, drinking or using drugs.
For those who are curious about the music as well as the image of Miley in the upcoming album, the single "Malibu" could be a great suggestion. This is a light, warm pop rock version that she wants to give her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. To promote “Malibu,” she “ took over” the NBC network”, appearing on multiple shows throughout the day, including “Today” and “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
Unlike the style of electronic music in the Bangerz album, Malibu relies heavily on traditional instruments such as drums and guitars with gentle melodies that makes listeners think of Miley's time in Hannah Montana.
Not only returning to the studio, Miley Cyrus will also return to The American Voice Season 13. She used to be the judge of this competition, but she then gave up this position to Gwen Stefani. In late August, Miley will be performing at MTV VMAs along with other stars like Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Lorde and Thirty Seconds to Mars.
The new image with her announce of changing herself is drawing lots of public attention. Hope that "Younger Now" will be a worth-waiting music product in 2017.
