Jennifer Lawrence admits dropping out of school at 14
Speaking during a preview clip for her interview with '60 Minutes', she said: "I dropped out of middle school. I don't technically have a GED or a diploma. I am self-educated. I really don't [regret it]. I wanted to forge my own path. I found what I wanted to do, and I didn't want anything getting in the way of it. Even friends, for many years, were not as important to me as my career. I mean, from the age of 14."
Lawrence was a model from a very young age. Then she began to read the movie script and sympathized with the characters. As for her, that was a good sign. She added: "I struggled through school. I never felt very smart. And when I'm reading the script and I feel like I know exactly what it would look like if somebody felt that way, that was the whole part of my brain that I didn't even know existed - something that I could be confident in and I didn't want to let it go."

It's not uncommon for Hollywood stars to drop out of school at an early age. Many actors have self-studied later or hired private teachers ... However, after watching the 60 Minutes, many viewers said on social networks that Lawrence will become a "bad example" for her young fans. Even so, the gamble that Lawrence took had great effect. "It was just an overwhelming feeling of 'I get this. This is what I was meant to do.' And to get people to try to understand that, when you're 14 years old wanting to drop out of school and do this, and your parents are just like 'You're out of your mind.'" said Lawrence.
She was nominated for an Oscar at the age of 20 and when she was 22, she won a gold statue. Lawrence is currently one of the biggest stars in Hollywood just under 28 years old. Her films grossed a total of $ 55 billion and she was the highest paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016.
Not only did she shine in such drama films as Winter's Bone, Silver Linings Playbook or Joy, but Lawrence is also the face of some classic blockbusters like Hunger Games and X-Men.
