Lea Michele was the biggest star of "Glee" at the time with Rachel Berry. She was a talented singer but was often bullied by cheerleaders and rugby team. Rachel joined the singing team to express her passion as well as realize her dream of becoming a singer. In addition to sweet voice, female leader also left a mark with the love story with Finn Hudson.
After the film ended, Lea Michele acted as a singer more than acting. She starred in the hit television series of Murphy and Scream Queens, and Hulu's science fiction “Dimension 404”. She also published her book "You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life" and will release a new album in the near future.
No.7. Mercedes Jones (Amber Riley)
In "Glee," Amber Riley played Mercedes Jones, a student who had a vocal power but often acted as a rapper. She was also the first to audition for New Directions.
Like many other actors, "Glee" is the springboard for Amber's career. She appeared in NBC's "Wiz Wiz" series in 2015 and the Dreamgirls show in London. She is set to appear in the upcoming Fly TV series.
No.8. Marley Rose (Melissa Benoist)
Melissa Benoist played Marley Rose, one of the last members to appear in Glee. She made her appearance in the final season of the film when the cast came to the door of university.
After "Glee" ended, Melissa Benoist became Superman's cousin as guest star in CW's "Arrow" series. The performance was highly praised, which helped her have a series of Supergirl films as well as appear in CW's DC Universe.
No.9. Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer)
"Glee" was the first television series that Chris Colfer appeared in. The guy played the role of Kurt Hummel, a homosexual student with beautiful looks and possessed soaring male voice. Kurt was often bullied at school because of LGBT community and New Directions singing group. Kurt's role earned him a Golden Globe and three People's Choice Awards.
The character in "Glee" appeared to be a copy of Chris Colfer in real life when he was also often bullied at school because of being gay. After finishing his acting career in “Glee”, he won a lot of success in the music industry and turned to literature. His book “The Land of Stories” is a bestseller. This February, Chris will release his next book named “Stranger Than Fanfiction”.
No.10. Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss)
Blaine studied at Dalton Academy and is the lead vocalist for the school's singing group, The Dalton Academy Warblers. Blaine initially acted as a friend and mentor to Kurt Hummel. Their affection grew and became a couple. Early in the third season, Blaine moved to McKinley High School and joined New Directions to be closer to his boyfriend.
Despite being gay, Darren Criss is a "straight guy". After “Glee”, he continued his strong acting career in music and theater with “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” on Broadway in 2015. Daren also starred in hit television series such as “American Horror Story” and “American Crime Story”.
