G-Eazy arrested for assault and drug possession
After a performance in Stockholm on Wednesday night, the 28-year-old rapper went to a club to attend a party with some friends, according to TMZ.
Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that the Rapper G-Eazy was acting belligerent. They were told several security guards approached him, asking him to calm down, but G-Eazy started to throw punches ... striking one guard in the face several times.
Police later discovered that the Oakland native was carrying narcotics in his pocket.

Girlfriend Halsey, Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, was reportedly present for the incident. According to a TMZ clip, G-Eazy was later escorted out of Solidaritet as a crowd formed to watch the commotion. Halsey, who was held back by police, could be heard screaming something about getting 'punched in the face.'
A source has also informed the media outlet that G-Eazy remains in custody. Prior to the public arrest, G-Eazy performed in front of thousands at a Stockholm venue. And fans went wild when Halsey joined him on stage to perform their hit single Him And I. As the Alone singer sang, her boyfriend was seen nuzzling her neck.
Others were not surprised and thought that it would come sooner or later because most rappers are "aggressive" and use banned substances to help them sublimate with music.
The police are investigating the origin of the cocaine that G-Eazy carried with him. They said they would soon reach a conclusion on the 28-year-old rapper's punishment.
The Billboard has contacted G-Eazy's representative for more information but received no response.
This isn't the first time that G-Eazy, Halsey, and drugs have been mentioned in the same sentence. Back in January, Halsey was seen snorting a suspicious substance while hanging out with her pals in Miami. Gerald addressed this in an interview with The Breakfast Club.
'I was on a boat. It was New Year's Day, I'm on a yacht, what do you think I'm doing?' he said neither confirming nor denying that his significant other was snorting cocaine. 'It's like s*** can I live?
This is also not the first time Hollywood stars have been busted for drugs. In 2011, American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars also got into trouble when caught carrying 9.2 grams of drug by police just several days after receiving the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
G-Eazy, whose real name is Gerald Earl Gillum, was born May 24, 1989 in California, USA. He is known as a rapper. In 2014, his first album These Things Happen reached # 3 on the US Billboard 200. In 2017, G-Eazy received the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Hip-Hop.
