'Dark Angel' Jessica Alba returns on screen after four years
According to Variety, Jessica Alba is preparing for a re-release on screen with a television project of “Bad Boys”. She will co-star with Gabrielle Union right from the debut of the NBC series. The official title of the series has yet to be revealed.
Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union) becomes the central character in the TV series of the sequel.
In the movie Bad Boys II, Gabrielle Union plays Syd Burnett, the sister of Marcus (Martin Lawrence), and the girlfriend of Mike (Will Smith). She is actually an undercover agent of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
The upcoming TV series will revolve around Syd and co-star Nancy McKenna performed by Jessica Alba. At this point, Syd Burnett left her job, and joined the New York Police Department (NYPD).
McKenna, who soon joined the army shortly after graduating from high school, served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Because women were not allowed to directly fight, she decided to join the military forces to take more action. However, Jessica Alba's character is now a private detective with two children coming into adulthood.

Participating in this sequel, Jessica Alba returns to television four years after The Spoils of Babylon (2014). The film marks the arrival of Jessica Alba in Hollywood as “Camp Nowhere”.
