Comedian Bill Cosby to face 30 years in jail
According to USA Today, the black comedian was convicted of anesthesia and assaulting Andrea Constand, an employee at Temple University at his home in suburban Philadelphia in 2004.
The media rated it as a turning point in the #MeToo movement (calling for victims of harassment and assault to accuse the bad guys) in the United States.
Bill Cosby, real name William Henry Cosby Jr. was born in 1937 in San Francisco (USA). He is a famous comedian, winning nine Grammy awards for his comedy albums. But Cosby's mask of lovely "American Dad" was stripped off.
So far, more than 60 women have accused Cosby of multi crimes, including anesthesia. Andrea Constand described Cosby as tricking her into taking her anesthetic and then assaulting her.
However, Cosby denied the charge and described it as a consensual relationship. In May 2016, the court confirmed that there was sufficient evidence to convict the comedian. However, after two weeks the court made no clear conclusions and the comedy did not receive any penalty.
Bill Cosby left the trial.
In April 2018, the trial court opened after rumors that Cosby had paid $ 2.4 million to Constand to settle the case. After 17 days of trial, the court found Cosby guilty. He will face up to 10 years in prison.
"It's time for him to pay for his crimes," said prosecutor Stewart Ryan. Cosby has been found guilty of three offenses and each offense is up to 10 years in prison.

Andrea Constand stepped out of the courtroom with a satisfied smile after Cosby was convicted. She claimed this was a struggle for justice not only for herself but for the other 60 victims who were attacked by Cosby.
In court, Constand described the horrifying moment of his life. She wanted him to stop. She wouldn’t speak. She wanted to move her arms and legs, but she could not. She was too weak, she could not fight him and know what to do.
There are many victims who have accused Cosby appeared at the trial. They all claimed that Cosby has abused them in a similar way. It was anesthetic drugs. A woman burst into tears when she saw Cosby and shouted, "You remember what you did, did not you, Mr. Cosby?"
USA Today said that Cosby would be sentenced to 60-90 days in prison. At the age of 80 and his deteriorated health, Cosby would most likely die in jail.
