Cher and Meryl Streep reunite in “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again”
In part one, Mamma Mia is the healing journey of Donna and the three men in the past, through Sophie's daughter's wedding. At the end of the first part, the audience still regrets to know more about Donna and the beautiful youth.
Realizing that, the producers try their best to bring the story of interwoven past and present, in order to portray young Donna's portraiture and Sophie's afterthought which suggests that they always have the same personality reflections in love.
“Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again”
Opening the trailer is Sophie's scene back to where her mother was in the old days. History is repeated when, like Donna's mother, she is now pregnant "out of the plan”. Sophie announces good news to her lover and celebrates the party together. At that moment, Sophie could not help wondering about her mother’s "glorious past" and "special fathers”.
Sophie's mother will come back
The story goes to the time of 1979 through the image of young Donna who was fascinated on the stage of music, openly wanted to explore everything in life: Donna surfed the ocean boat with "Bill" the world's most handsome guy. Then another one was the architect Sam extremely romantic that Donna accidentally met in the rain. And finally, there is an artist with a flying spirit – Harry.
Just like the 2008 movie, “Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again” is nestled in old-fashioned ABBA music, with many beautiful scenes and a beautiful cast.
In addition to the necessary return of Amanda Seyfried (Sophie) to secure the brand and image recognition, the second part features Lily James, who plays the young Donna. Of course, there will be names that make up the first part as Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth.
Cher in the movie
However, just released trailer gave to the audience another surprise. That is appearance of Cher – a talented musician and actress, in a role is considered "dramatic”. So this will be a wonderful reunion between Cher and Meryl Streep since “Silkwood” in 1983.
