“Captain Marvel”: The return of 'refreshed' old characters
After "Avengers: Infinity War," Marvel's most popular superhero movie is “Captain Marvel”. This film is not only the first superhero girl in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) but also the opening story for “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
Set in the 1990s, before the events of the MCU, at least ten years before Tony Stark successfully builds the Iron Man armor, “Captain Marvel” (2019) takes viewers back to the past to see the dead characters reunite the big screen. The film promises to be a whole new and unprecedented adventure in the history of the MCU.
Captain Marvel revolves around the story of Air Force female pilot - Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) - who will become the greatest superhero in the world. Eventually, Carol must travel to outer space to face Kree, the enemy of the Galactic Guard.
According to Marvel, the two main villains are Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Honsu) in “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014) will be featured in the blockbuster Captain Marvel next year. We all know that both of them were killed by the Guards but soon the audience will be reunited with them. However, Ronan and Korath are not the only two names to reappear in Marvel. Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) who died in “The Avengers” (2012) with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) -young man with full eyes will play the role of recruiting Captain Marvel on the Avengers.
This is a good latest news for Marvel fans because Coulson's comeback maybe a chance for the MCU and TV series including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Agents of "S.H.I.E.L.D.” to become a unified universe. In addition, "Captain Marvel" will also reveal many of the "behind the scenes" of "S.H.I.E.L.D.” when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is not the first superhero to be recruited. Let's wait until next year to see the unexpected "reunion" on the screen with the secret will be revealed.
Especially when "Captain Marvel" is predicted to become a replacement for "Captain America" after actor Chris Evans shares the intention of not Captain America when “Avengers 4” ends, so the fans are more eager to see the performance of this superheroine. How will “Captain Marvel” connects to MCU and how strong will be the superheroine? The question will be answered when the movie is being released early next year. The movie is scheduled to open on March 8, 2019 all over the world. On the International Women's Day you watch the movie about super heroine, which is very reasonable.
