When "Black Panther" was attacking theaters in North America, Marvel made fans wait with the trailer of “Ant-Man and The Wasp”. This is the second movie about Ant-Man and also the 2018 final work of the company. But before the scene of “Avengers: Infinity Wars” is approaching, the trailer leaves many questions.
No.1. When are the events in the movie?
Often, superhero films often take the time immediately after the previous work to avoid revealing the end of the work. Accordingly, “Ant-Man and The Wasp” must follow “Avengers: Infinity Wars” in May. However, much of the information is that the film will be set after “Captain America: Civil War” and before “Avengers: Infinity Wars”. This is reasonable when the trailer only refers to images taken during the superhero civil war. In addition, the world in Ant-Man seems to be "in peace" and there is no sign of a fight with Thanos.
No.2. Who is Ghost?
Ghost is the enemy of Iron Man
The trailer also revealed the main antagonist in "Ant-Man and The Wasp" is Ghost played by Hannah John-Kamen. Marvel Comics fans may know that Iron Man's enemies, a villain of a mysterious and violent past. He first appeared in Iron Man # 219 and Iron Man # 220 (written by David Michelinie and Bob Layton), hired by the Roxxon Group to undermine Tony Stark's business.
Ghost's technology allows him to become invisible and invulnerable. The costume allows Ghost to connect and communicate with all types of technology, even without direct contact with the device. As a result, he became a hacker and a formidable killer and always "exceeds expectations" in contracts.
However, Ghost version of MCU has little change as a woman and has little to do with Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne) - best friend of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). Perhaps, the Marvel filmmakers will change a little bit in the biography and super-capacity of this character.
No.3. Which role does quantum realm play?
According to previous reports, Janet Van Dyne played by Michelle Pfeiffer will be rescued from the quantum realm region. However, she was completely absent from the recent trailer. In addition, the filmmakers also suggested that the quantum realm space would open up a big new "multiverse".
Is it going back in time for the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity Wars", or is it connected to a universe that Disney has "bought"?
No.4. What are the names of super heroes who will appear?
Of course, besides The Wasp, fans also expect another superhero to appear in the movie. Marvel's recent works have consisted of two or more superheroes like Thor and Hulk in “Thor: Ragnarok” or Spider Man and Iron Man in “Spider-Man: Homecoming”. Who will team up with Ant-Man in this new movie will be something that viewers are extremely excited.
