No.1. The X-Files season 11
In the early days of the year, the legendary “The X-Files” will be back, ready to answer your questions from season 10 (2016) and bring new scary mystery.
In this season, we will learn more about the mysterious child of two agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. In addition, the film will also introduce two new characters, is considered the "successor" of the two familiar legends. The X-Files Part 11 will have a total of 10 episodes and let's hope the movie will not make us as disappointed as the return of Prison Break last year.
No.2. American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace
Following the success of Season 1, The People v. O.J.Simpson, producer Ryan Murphy, continues to offer audiences one of the most mysterious cases in history: the assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace.
In 1997, Versace and nine others were murdered by Andrew Cunanan. After that, he also killed himself before the FBI caught up. There are many controversies, and many political factors involved in the massacre. The film includes many stars like Edgar Ramirez and Penelope Cruz.
No.3. Black Lightning
Superhero moviegoers are sure to miss CW's new title. It follows a multi-generation African American family with members who possess supernatural powers.
The father after years of retirement decides to go back to save the world, as well as has to face complex problems in the family. The movie will be CW's fourth superhero series (after Arrow, The Flash, The Legend of Tomorrow).
No.4. The Alienist
The Alienist is a crime series set in the late nineteenth century. Based on Caleb Carr's novel of the same name, the film revolves around a group of three members including the journalist, sheriff and psychoanalyst in the quest to find the brutal murderer in a series of prostitutes in New York in 1896.
Not only does it provide early insights into early criminal psychology, it also deals with media interference, legal issues, and gender inequalities. The movie includes many talented star such as Luke Powers, Dakota Fanning and Daniel Bruhl.
No.5. Altered Carbon
It is adapted based on the science fiction novel of the same name by writer Richard Morgan. Altered Carbon is set in the future 300 years later, where human memory can be transplanted into another's body so that it can continue to exist. After being killed, wealthy noble Laurens Bancroff decides to move his memory into the body of a dead soldier named Takeshi Kovacs to find out the perpetrator.
Actress Emma Stone and comedian Jonah Hill will join the comedy series of Netflix. The film follows two psychiatric patients into the fictional world of their minds, where we marvel at the demarcated boundaries. The director of this series is none other than Cary Fukunaga - who made the success of True Dectective season 1.
