Upgraded Fiat Fiorino to be launched in Europe
Sources said, the third generation of Fiorino was announced in mid-2007 and after 9 years since it appeared on the market, the van has reached more than 370,000 units sales.
As for appearance, the upgraded Fiat Fiorino model has quite similar look compared to its predecessor. The only notable innovation is front design, which is reshaped with improved headlights.
New Fiat Fiorino interior is also equipped with new steering wheel and gear lever, upgraded instrument cluster and an 5-inch innovative infotainment system with Bluetooth, navigation and radio DAB.
But more importantly, all of Fiorino engine meets the stricter Euro 6 emission standards. Like its predecessor, the upgraded Fiorino is equipped with 13-liter MultiJet diesel.
Meanwhile, Ecojet versions use fuel-saving technologies such as start-stop systems, smart electricity generation, changed oil pumper. This allows average fuel consumption of 74.3 miles per gallon (equivalent of 3.8 liters per 100 km) and CO2 emission of 100 grams / km.
Customers also have the option of naturally aspirated petrol engine1.4 liter with a capacity of 77 hp (57 kW). Both diesel and petrol version will be equipped with advanced safety technology such as anti-lock braking system ABS, electronic brake distribution system EBD, electronic balancing system ESC, sliding warning system ASR, automatically parking sensor system, air bags on two sides and front.
Fiat will begin taking orders for this upgraded version from mid-April with pricing will be revealed in the near future.
