10 most powerful cars at the Geneva Motor Show 2018
Mercedes-AMG GT Four-Door Coupe
This is a 4-door version of the AMG GT Coupe, developed based on the AMG GT Concept which debuted at this exhibition last year. With this four-door Coupe, the manufacturer offers three variants including the GT 53, the GT 63 and the GT 63S. The top-of-the-line is GT 63S with a hand-built 630-horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The V8 has deactivating cylinder to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. The car could accelerate 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 196 mph.
Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder
Following the success of the Huracan Performante, Lamborghini continues to produce the convertible variant of this supercar. This convertible is equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 with capacity of 640 horsepower and maximum torque of 600 Nm. This model will hustle its way to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph.
Ferrari 488 Pista
The new Ferrari 488 Pista, which has made its public debut at the Geneva motor show, uses the most powerful V8 in Ferrari history. Using 3.9-litre twin-turbo engine, Ferrari 488 Pista bumps output up to 631 horsepower. The changes come from larger cooling system, new camshaft, titanium piston rod and Inconel exhaust system.
McLaren Senna GTR
In spite of being a concept, Senna GTR has shown offits huge potential. Because it is still in the form of ideas, there is no official figure for the power of the Senna GTR. McLaren only revealed that the least power of the supercar was 825 horsepower. Once the car is completed, this number may increase.
LVCHI Venere
Chinese automaker LVCHI Auto has launched an electric sedan called LVCHI Venere. This car is equipped with intelligent self-driving features and incredible performance as a supercar. The dynamics of the car consists of four electric motors with total capacity of 992 horsepower and total torque of 1.540 Nm. This supercar can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph within2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 178 mph.
Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro
A year after launching the Valkyrie, Aston Martin continues to release the Valkyrie AMR Pro version with power up to 1,100 horsepower thanks to the V12 hybrid engine block. To maximize performance, this supercar eliminates all the equipment and enhances aerodynamic details.
Zenvo TSR-S
Not as much well-known as Pagani or Koenigsegg, but the Zenvo supercar of Denmark wants to create the world's strongest supercar. Its Zenvo TSR-S is equipped with a 5.8-liter V8 engine with two superchargers producing 1,177 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque.
Techrules Ren RS
Techrules, a car research and development company in China has just launched the all-new hybrid Ren RS. Techrules Ren RS owns exclusive turbine-recharging electric technology, configuring up to 6 electric motors with a capacity of 1,287 horsepower and torque of 2,340 Nm.
Corbellati Missile
Developed by the Corbellati family specializing in sculpture and fine arts, the Corbellati Missile promises to be the fastest supercar in the world. This supercar owns 9.0-liter twin-turbo V8, with a capacity of 1800 horsepower and maximum speed of 300 mph.
Rimac C_Two
Previously, Rimac was famous for the Concept One – the world’s fastest accelerating electric vehicle with 1,088 horsepower capacity. Subsequently, the company introduced its second supercar Rimac C_Two with a maximum capacity of up to 1,888 horsepower and maximum torque of 2,300 Nm. Rimac C_Two can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 1.85 seconds before reaching a top speed of 256 mph.
